Jim Zwernemann's
T&NO and MKT

LOCATION: Cedar Creek (Southeast)
SCALE: Proto-48 O
SIZE: 30' x 25'
This layout is being built to P48 standards; the general theme is T&NO/MKT in Texas in the transition era. Benchwork is complete, approximately 150 feet of track has been haid-laid, and 60 feet of detailed backdrop has been hand-painted. The main line is complete and much of the scenery is complete, as well.

The railroad features numerous scratch-built award-winning freight cars and structures, including Katy's downtown Austin freight terminal, freight shed, brick office, and freight platform. Over the last year or so, Jim has added a scratch-built turntable and model of the Carmine, Texas depot. Several new scratch-built fright cars have been finished and he is in the process of converting some brass diesels to P48. Control system in DC.

The railroad is handicap accessible.
