The Conundrum and Pacific is a switching railroad which models the UP, BNSF, and Pacific Northwest railroads in the Portland area, including the port. As the congested area grew, the railroads realized that they could deliver better service and reduce costs considerably by working together.

There are no scheduled trains. The three yardmasters decide how to pick up and spot the cars for their customers. They control the rail line running between the yards. A session is switching, more switching and even more switching. Most scenery has been compressed out to allow room for more industries. The layout is controlled with Easy DCC throttles.

The layout is on the second floor, up 18 carpeted stairs. Sessions can be run on reuqest with a week or so of notice. If you're interested in operating, please contact Pete at peteguy@prismnet.com.
